Off World Construction

NASA is planning to establish a Moon base within the next decade and Space-X has its sights set upon missions to Mars for quite a while now. However, the big decision to make is how much risk are we going to take with human astronauts to achieve those goals.

We are now entering the availability of an AGI-system that can be trained extensively, and even more important, can learn from every experience it will encounter during deployment. Therefor the obvious strategy is to use autonomous machines for the initial phases of such projects.

Robotics fitted with a ASTRID Brain will be able to autonomously perform tasks that previously could only be done by humans. They can do this without the risk of being injured by the harsh conditions in outer space. This will make it possible to build fundamental infrastructure before human astronauts 'take the plunge'.

We encourage companies and agencies that are working in this realm and are eager to explore the possibilities, to contact us. We at MIND|CONSTRUCT are looking forward to partner with you for joint development of autonomous machines for off world construction, based on our ASTRID technology.

Deep Space Exploration
MODULE 1.1
Deep Space Exploration

Humanity has been sending robotic machines to other planets for several decades now. The distance to our moon however already shows an obvious delay in communication transmissions. The vast distances to other planets in our own planetary system will obviously bring major difficulties in operating remote controlled machines in these locations. This has hindered the speed of progress of space exploration, and additionally has cost hundreds of millions in lost equipment and failed missions.

Fully autonomous spacecrafts, rovers and eventually more complex robots will be able to handle problems where they occur, right there and in time to prevent loss of costly equipment. Or even worse like a completely failed mission. Such systems can anticipate the problems when they arise, instead of acting on events that already happened. This will greatly improve the speed of progress, and in the process bring down overall cost of space exploration.
